TEAM PSYCHO - RACE RESULTS
April 10, 2004
Boston, MA
- What: A handicapped relay run over a total of 26.2 miles (give or take)
- Where: Harpoon Brewery, 306 Northern Avenue (see directions below)
- Timing:
- - 1:00 brewery tour (learn all about the beer you will soon consume in large quantities)
- - 1:45 pre-start instructions
- - 2:00 - 6:00 run and drink beer (in any order)
- - 6:00 dinner at the brewery
- Who: Current and prospective members of Team Psycho and SOs
- Cost: Includes race food and beer (thanks to Harpoon); if you signed up for dinner there is a $25 catering fee per adult based on current registrants. This may end up lower.
Participants will be assigned to teams of 3-5 people who will run a marathon as a relay. Teams will be handicapped so they are expected to finish at the same time. Handicaps will be based on your own estimates. Sandbaggers will be severely penalized. (Hear that Barry and Barney?)
To participate, register (preferred) or email me as soon as possible, but no later than April 7. If you email me, include the following information:
- How many for the brewery tour (Harpoon needs a count)
- Number of total miles you would ideally race, not necessarily all in one leg (3-5, 5-8, or 8-12)
- Predicted times for 1 mile, 5K, 10K (be aggressive since sandbaggers will be publicly humiliated and penalized)
- How many kids/adults for dinner?
