Harpoon B2B
Boston - Winsor, Vt - A big thanks to Harpoon, Shag and all the volunteers for one of the best B2B rides to date! This year's ride attracted a number of professional
cyclists including Team Psycho's Petro, DD, Lavalle, and Dede Griesbauer. There was a good South Shore showing and a few from the Western suburbs. Apparently,
Duffy dialed in the weather for no rain, the only day in 3 week, which made the grueling 148 miles with 7000ft of climbing a bit more pleasurable. Top it off with Harpoon
beer, what a day!

Team Psycho Weekend (TPW)
Northfield, Ma - It was a record turnout for the 17th annual Team Psycho Weekend. Thanks to the Western Mass Militia TP crew, Carmen and many others, it was a fun filled
weekend of psycho training, lymrics, popsicle sticks and beer. Of course, to determine what is meant by lymrics and popsicle sticks, one must attend TPW.
Can't wait for 2010!

Sports, Leedership and Life -- Karen Smyers "A Word of Encouragement, a Lifetime of Reward"
Team Psycho's Karen Smyer's authors an inspirational article. A brief excerpt..."I remember the heavy feeling in my arms and the burning in my lungs.
I remember wanting to cry because I didn't think I could make another lap
without being in serious danger of drowning yet I did not have the nerve to get out of the pool and quit. I counted down the minutes to the end of that first
workout with a serious, year-round "club" swim team, a workout that made me yearn for the fun-filled social hour that constituted the summer swim team practice.
I was 12 years old."
